Who I work with:

I work with adult clients who are experiencing anxiety, abandonment and attachment issues, imbalances of power in their relationships, BPD, trauma symptoms and PTSD, those who are at a transition point, and those who want to gain control over their relationship with alcohol.

One thing is certain: You will never be reduced to a clinical diagnosis or set of symptoms. My commitment is to offer holistic support so that you can get whatever it is that you want out of therapy.

Psychotherapy Sessions

Because every person who decides to embark on therapy is completely unique, so is the course of therapy. Therapy is an engaged collaboration and I consider myself a guide in this process, not a directive leader or passive listener.

Your therapy may involve questioning and updating limiting beliefs, behaviours, relationships, and situations that no longer serve you so that you can take empowered new actions to edit them out of your story. It may involve making peace with the past or figuring out how to create your best future. While you may have specific intentions in mind, there will always be room for discovery in this explorative process.

Psycho-therapeutic techniques such as; parts work, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, dreamwork, and cognitive behavior therapies will help you get the most from your sessions and gain practical tools to use outside of the therapy hour.

Psychotherapy sessions are 50 - 60 minutes long and are $135. These sessions are conducted through an encrypted virtual portal that ensures privacy. In-person sessions are also available.

It is important to make an informed choice when choosing a therapist. I offer a free consultation before committing to ongoing therapy to give us the opportunity to learn more about each other.

Psychotherapy Sessions with Hypnosis

When hypnosis is included in psychotherapy, it acts as a powerful catalyst in the process of change. Hypnosis can be used to treat many issues, and a growing body of current research clearly demonstrates that adding hypnosis to psychotherapy increases the effectiveness of therapy. I have professional training in hypnosis to be used in psychotherapy, and have used it successfully as an adjunct to therapy for many issues. Hypnosis can help you become aware of your strengths and resources, have creative new insights and ideas, and make positive shifts more easily, often in surprising ways.

There are many misconceptions about this safe, non-invasive, and ancient healing technique. I am happy to address any questions or concerns during a consultation.

Hypnosis sessions are 60 to 75 minutes long and are $175, can be conducted virtually or in person, and include a recording of the hypnosis. My services are covered by most insurance plans.

Please note that my style of working is best suited to clients who are 25 +.
